Municipal Engineering
Currently Gaston Engineering and Surveying serves as City or Town Engineers for several communities in Montana. Attending council meetings or board of directors meetings, this firm is familiar with the needs of City’s and Town’s throughout Montana.
Specific work on projects such as community water treatment plants and sewage treatment facilities are only a few of the projects in our municipal experience. Working on Special Improvement Districts (SID’s) and Rural Special Improvement Districts (RID’s) pay back areas, Capital Improvement Plans and Infrastructure Replacement Programs are also part of our ongoing experience with municipalities.
At the present time our Engineers are working with communities on “Beneficial Water Use Permits”, water right inventory, community (public) water well improvements and upgrades to fire flows, pressure zones and storage. Recently our firm completed a centerline soils survey of the roads and streets in a mountain community to determine future road and street improvements.
