Agricultural Engineering for Center Pivot Irrigation

Gaston Engineering & Surveying was involved in the design and construction supervision of center pivot irrigation systems including all diversion and conveyance systems. These projects included the design of either stream diversion structures or irrigation ditch diversions.

Many projects required self cleaning intake screens. The conveyance network included control piping, pressure reducing valves, metering units, flow control and shutoff valves, along with the layout of the center pivots. Projects were surveyed and mapped and designed in accordance with NRCS regulations.
